Matching Pair Rin Matsuoka x Reader

Time check: 2 hours before your date with your boyfriend, Rin Matsuoka. Although you were pretty chill outside, internally you were fangirling pretty hard. You were going to watch (favorite action movie) and you could hardly wait. Watching it with your sexy boyfriend was a real bonus too.

You looked through your closet and settled for a pretty laid back outfit since you guys were probably gonna go to the skate park afterwards. You pulled out a fitted sleeveless black crop top and dark blue shorts. You decided to add a little punk so you scrapped a chain around your shorts and wore your wedge sneakers. You pulled out your long sleeved black and red checkered button down and tied it around your waist. Throwing on a beanie and a little makeup and you were good to go.

At 6pm your doorbell rang.
"Coming!", you called out. You grabbed your bag and skate board and headed out. Little did you know you were in for a little surprise cuz when you opened the door, you were surprised to see Rin wearing a matching attire to yours!  He was wearing a long sleeved black and red long sleeved button down over a gray shirt. He even matched your chain and hoodie! Heat rose to your cheeks as you looked your boyfriend over.
"Hot", you thought to yourself. Poor Rin was still in shock about the situation that you couldn't help but tease him a little.
"What's wrong Rin? Shark got your tongue?", you smirked. That snapped Rin back. The next thing you know, he pulled you close to him, one arm firmly around your waist and the other hand caressing your cheek.
He leaned in and whispered, "Hey, at least other people will know that you're mine. And mine alone, (name)." Then he placed a soft kiss on your lips, causing you to blush wildly. Rin chuckled at your flustered reaction and smiled at you.
"Let's go shall we?", he extended his hand to you.
You gladly held on to it and never let go.

While you skated to the movie house, you attracted a lot of stares from the people around you. Even some jealous glances from the girls from Iwatobi High. Oh well, you were the one with the hot boyfriend anyway so haha. You watched the movie together and it was great. After, you decided to pass by your favorite ice cream shop on the way to the skate park. (Favorite ice cream flavor), just as always.

You walked along the river band and decided to sit on a bench and watch the Sakura petals fall into the water. It was a pretty chill date since you two needed to relax after the term exams.
"I'm really lucky to have you, you know (name)."Rin said to you.
"I'm really luck to have you too, Rin.", you smiled.
Rin turned to you and you did the same. He looked at you with loving eyes, and he chuckled a little.
"You have a little ice cream over there, (name). Here, I'll get it..." He said. H leaned in close and licked the ice cream from the corner of your mouth, then he pressed a passionate kiss to your soft lips. You reached up to curl a hand in his hair to deepen the kiss.....

This moment was so perfect. You didn't want it to end.........

"Rin -chan!! (name)-chan!!"

......but then it did.

You broke away from the kiss and looked to your left. You saw a familiar bubbly blonde and a blue haired boy running after him.
"Tch, Nagisa.", you heard Rin scoff behind you. You sighed in reply.
Nagisa you cockblock you thought to yourself.

"Rin-chan! (name)-chan! Ehh!!! You guys are all matchy matchy!!! So cute! Ne, ne Rei-chan! Don't you think their cute!!", Nagisa shook Rei.
"Of course! They truly are a beautiful couple! ", Rei agreed which of course made you blush.
Rin put an arm around you and said, "Duh. Of course we are. You think we don't know that?". You let out a small chuckle and said, "Well, we'll be going now. Have fun on your date guys.", you winked at Nagisa as you and Rin walked away, leaving a still cheerful Nagisa and a very flustered Rei.

"Hey (name), I'm gonna go over there for a bit. Akihito wants to tell me something.", Rin said.
"Okay."
You were just hanging out with your skater girl friends when a bunch of guys came up to you. A guy with spiky black hair with blonde highlights came up to you.
"Hey there beautiful. I'm Koji. Wanna hang out?"
You just dead panned at the guy, shooting him a classic Haru look.
"No thanks. I have a boyfriend. Go find someone else.", you stood up with your friends and started to walk away. All of a sudden an arm made it's way around your waist. It was creepy Koji. He pulled you close to him, but you weren't just gonna stand there and play the cliché damsel in distress. You pushed him away from you and gave him a slap that earned a gasp from his and your friends.
"I said, I'm not interested.", you growled.

Koji turned to you with an angry gleam in his eyes. Then he grabbed your wrist and grabbed your neck. His hand was clamped tightly around your neck and you were choking on the lack of  oxygen.
"Big mistake missy. You're gonna regret that. Where's your boyfriend now?", he threatened .
"Turn around", a familiar husky voice said.
Koji turned around and immediately let go of you, leaving you to gasp for air.
"Now you see him.", Rin said. His shark teeth were barred into a snarl and his eyes had a menacing look in them.
And that's all it took because Koji literally crumpled in fear. He took a step back and stepped on your skate board causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. In the end his friends had to drag him home. Pathetic.

Rin walked over to you, worry replacing the anger you had seen in his eyes just moments ago.
"Are you ok, (name)?" His fingers lightly grazed your red neck.
"I'm ok now." You tiptoed to place your lips on his. Rin sighed and decided to bring you home.

Where is he? You thought to yourself.
You just sighed and decided to wait a little longer. You sat on a bench along the river and watched as the Sakura petals fell into the water.
Suddenly, you saw a glimpse of gold shine in front of your eyes and cold metal touching your skin. You looked down to your chest and saw a gold ring hanging from a chain. You turned around to see Rin making his way to sit beside you.

"You like it?", he asked, a shy smile on his face.
You smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. "I love it Rin, thank you."
You looked at the ring again. Inside it had an engraving.

Rin and (name) Forever.

"And look," he pulled out a chain around his neck. "I have one too."
You smiled and took his hand. "And now, we'll always be a matching pair."
He smiled at you and pulled you into a kiss.

That's when you knew your forever was with him.
